As a new migrant, or a newcomer from another part of New Zealand, you are welcome to join Manawatu Newcomers. We would like you to feel at home in the Manawatu region and to settle well into your new environment and the community.
Manawatu Newcomers Network can offer you friendship and support through various social activities and events. You may also get help and support with settlement issues. You are welcome, regardless of your age, your nationality or the language you speak.
Who are we?
We are a non profit organization run by volunteers and coming under the umbrella of the Manawatu Multicultural Council Inc. Most of us have at some point been new to the Manawatu region so understand the difficulties faced when moving here.
We are here to support anyone new to the Manawatu. You do not have to be from overseas, if you are new to the Manawatu region from other parts of New Zealand, Manawatu Newcomers Network is for you. If you are an immigrant from an English speaking or Non-English country Manawatu Newcomers Network is for you.
